🚶‍♂️ How to Navigate 🚶‍♀️

Step 1: Download the Safe Life Guide App
Begin by downloading the Safe Life Guide mobile application. Open it and stay on the HOPE View — this will become your daily home base for reflection and direction.

Step 2: Watch the Introductory HOPE Videos
These short videos explain each part of the HOPE framework. While they’re not ADHD-specific, they offer helpful grounding and are available in the Safe Life Guide app or right here on this page.

Step 3: Read About the HOPE Trail on the ADHD Terrain
Once you’ve got the basics, read through the first seven sections of this page. These explain how the HOPE framework becomes an adventurous inner journey through the ADHD Terrain — with values as your compass.

Step 4: Explore Each HOPE Section in Depth
The page then expands each HOPE step (Helps/Harms, Own My Values, People & Pursuits, Enact & Evaluate). These in-depth reflections are best explored slowly, ideally with your Life Guide over the course of a couple of months.

Step 5: Begin Your Weekly Value Practice
Once you’ve understood the HOPE trail, move to the 100 values. Each one is written up in detail with metaphor, trail prompts, and reflection questions. Try exploring one value per week using:

  • The in-app journal,
  • A downloadable HOPE journal, or
  • One of the HOPE printed books (see links on this page).

Step 6: Reflect Weekly and Track Your Growth
Use your chosen journal to reflect each week on how that value showed up in your life. Over time, you’ll begin to notice patterns, shifts in mindset, and small wins that build momentum.

This is a two-year journey — one value per week. No pressure. Just pace, purpose, and a path worth walking.
